We allow users a proactive way to document their vehicle/s condition prior to a theft or accident. Having accurate information immediately improves the chances of recovery.
When a member or viewer visits the site we utilize IP Geo-location to display the stolen cars or accessories closest to their location. This alerts viewers that a vehicle or parts were stolen within their geographic area, to keep an eye out. When a vehicle is seen, information can be entered and alerts sent to all involved parties.
As a member, in the unfortunate case your vehicle is stolen, all you need to do is log on to your account:
- Select the vehicle
- Enter the police report information including the last known location
- Submit
We then begin reporting and monitoring of internet postings on local, regional and social sites. These includes model specific enthusiast sites, classified ad sites such as Craigslist and auction sites for both parts and complete vehicle sales sections. If a match is made on the vehicle or part, then an e-mail alert is sent to your registered address for you to identify and validate.
We value your privacy and no data is publically available or sold to third parties! In the unfortunate case your vehicle or parts are stolen, only the description, picture and law enforcement agency information will be posted!!! Ownership and contact information will always remain confidential. If your vehicle is stolen from your home we just post the city and state and not your personal address.
